Sydney Coble serves as the Minister of Music at Piedmont Baptist Church, bringing decades of faithful ministry experience and a lifelong passion for leading God's people in worship. After serving in full time music ministry for more than forty years, Sydney joined the staff of Piedmont Baptist Church in 2021, where he continues to faithfully lead the music ministry through directing, writing, and arranging music that glorifies the Lord and encourages the church in worship.

Throughout his ministry, Sydney has been committed to honoring the Lord through music and encouraging others to use their gifts for His glory. His faithful leadership, humble spirit, and genuine love for people have made him an encouragement to the Piedmont church family.

Sydney earned degrees from Tennessee Temple University, Carolina Bible College, and Victory Baptist College. He and his wife, Cathy, have faithfully served the Lord together throughout their marriage, with Cathy serving as his pianist since 1972. Outside of ministry, Sydney enjoys golfing, yard work, and gardening.
