Pastor Chris Hunt has served as the Youth Pastor of Piedmont Baptist Church since 2019, where he leads the church's student ministry and serves as a member of the Executive Team. Having grown up traveling with his missionary parents, he developed a heart for ministry at an early age. His desire is to help students know Christ, build their lives upon God's Word, and remain faithful to Him for years to come.

For Pastor Chris, ministry begins with relationships. That conviction has shaped his work with students both inside and outside the church. In addition to leading Piedmont's student ministry, he has developed an extensive public school ministry that allows him to connect with students throughout the community. Through biblical preaching, personal encouragement, and the investment of a dedicated youth leadership team, he seeks to help students grow in their faith and develop a lasting commitment to Christ. He also provides oversight of Piedmont's children's ministry, supporting its continued growth and day to day ministry.

Pastor Chris earned degrees from Piedmont Baptist Bible College and Macedonia Baptist College. He and his wife, Brandy, have one son, Grant. Outside of his ministry at Piedmont, he serves as a volunteer firefighter in the local community. He enjoys fishing, spending time with his family, and playing music.
