Amy Edwards

Amy Edwards serves as the Director of Women's Ministries at Piedmont Baptist Church, where she has served alongside her husband, Dr. Mike Edwards, since the church was founded in 2001. She has a heart for encouraging women through the teaching of God's Word, intentional discipleship, and genuine relationships. Her desire is to help women grow in their faith, invest in others, and faithfully serve the Lord through the local church.
In addition to leading Piedmont's women's ministry, Amy speaks at conferences and retreats, encouraging women to grow in their understanding of Scripture and live out their faith each day. She is the author of several books, hosts the Living Beyond podcast, and cohosts the Girl Talk podcast with her daughter, Sarah. Whether speaking, writing, or mentoring women, her passion is to encourage others to follow Christ with confidence and faithfulness.
Amy earned degrees from Bob Jones University and is certified in Temperament Counseling. She and Dr. Mike Edwards have two daughters. Outside of ministry, she enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her family.
