Worship Service Technical Teams
Media Volunteers
Are you interested in running lights or video on Sunday morning? If so, please contact Matt VanZant in the church office or mvanzant@piedmontbc.org.
Have a knack for timing, good ear for mixing sound? Put your expertise to work helping worship services and special events in the sanctuary run smoothly. Members can serve on the sound team on the projection rotation.
Prayer Ministry – Piedmont Prays
Join us as we pray:
- The Women's Prayer Meeting,
once a month, in the Prayer Room. The next women's prayer meeting will be Sunday, April 20th at 6:00PM in the Prayer Room. For more information, please contact Ethel Ford at 770-499-2352 or Shirley Davis at 770-218-1156.
- Men's Prayer Meetings.

Attention, Moms!
Praise, Confession, Thanksgiving, Intercession
Here's an opportunity for you to become part of a group called Moms in Touch (MIT). This is a group of moms who meet for an hour each week to pray for their children and the school they attend! If you are interested in praying with an existing prayer group for:
- Addison, Kincaid, Mountain View, Sawyer Road, JJ Daniel, Simpson, Mt. Paran, Kell, KMHS or Sprayberry
OR if you are willing to start a prayer group for:
- Bells Ferry, Blackwell, Chalker, Nicholson, McCleskey or Marietta High School

Newcomers Ministry
Look for the golden corsages and boutonnières identifying those who serve in our Newcomers Ministry. These members greet our first-time guests and help them find their way around, leading parents to their preschool, children's or students Sunday School rooms, adults and youth to meeting places for their groups, and introducing everyone to friendly faces all around. First impressions make all the difference!
Family Night Supper
Family Night Supper, served from 5:00pm to 6:30pm Wednesdays in the Conference Center, is a great opportunity to fellowship with other Piedmont members! It's also convenient to eat and be close to your Wednesday night activities. For a nominal charge, guests enjoy an offering from one of our Canton Road Business Association friends, like Chick-Fil-A and Papa John's Pizza, plus chips, salad bar, tea, lemonade or coffee and dessert. You can be part of the team of workers behind the scenes serve by preparing the salad, setting up the serving lines, serving food, and washing dishes afterward. Family Night Supper is a great time of fellowship, whether you're eating or a part of the volunteer team serving!
Media Ministry
Dr. Reighard's books are available for purchase, as well as Sermon CDs, perfect if you've missed a Sunday or have a shut-in friend. Dr. Reighard's sermons are also available for download to your iPod or other digital media player.
Wednesday Night Children and Adult Ministries
Opportunities for service in the Wednesday night program include
- Child care
- RA leaders
- GA leaders
- Mission Friends
- Adult Bible study facilitators and teachers
